How soon does the voucher arrive?
Instantly. As soon as your payment is processed, the recipient gets an email with their unique voucher code, the value, expiry date and redemption instructions. There's nothing to print or post unless you want to.
How long is it valid?
Three years from the date of purchase. This matches the Australian Consumer Law minimum for retail gift cards (Treasury Laws Amendment Act 2018). The expiry date is printed on the voucher itself.
What can it be redeemed for?
Any DSK service — pre-sale property cleaning, strata maintenance, soft-wash exterior cleans, internal cleaning, windows, gutters, solar panels, garden & grounds, driveway pressure washing, post-build cleans and end-of-lease cleans. The recipient picks the service that suits them.
How does the recipient redeem it?
Two ways: (1) on dsk.au — when booking a service through our quote form, paste the voucher code into the message field; or (2) by phone — call Peter on 0423 668 766 and quote the code. The voucher value is applied as a discount on the final invoice.
Can the voucher be used for part of a job?
Yes. If the voucher value doesn't cover the whole job, the difference is paid the usual way (card, transfer, or invoice). If there's leftover credit, the remaining balance stays on the voucher and can be used again until it's exhausted or expires.
Can I use it for someone outside the Northern Beaches?
DSK currently services Sydney's Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. We do occasionally take jobs further afield — get in touch before purchasing if the recipient is outside this area and we'll let you know.
Can I get a refund if it's not used?
Vouchers are non-refundable once issued. Under Australian Consumer Law you may be entitled to a refund in specific circumstances (e.g. if DSK ceases trading) — but in normal circumstances, please use the voucher within the 3-year validity window.
