Why Newport Is Different
Homes built down the slope
On the steeper streets a house often steps down its block over two or three levels, with the entry at the top and the best outdoor space at the bottom. Each level has its own deck, stairs and glass, and little of it can be reached from the driveway. We work out the access before we quote, so the lower levels get the same finish as the front door.
Two kinds of water view
Ocean-side homes take salt spray off the beach. Pittwater-side homes look west over calmer water, so their glass and decks catch the afternoon light. Either way the view is the selling point, and salty glass gets in its way.

Next door in Mona Vale, we prepared a home for sale in March 2026. The timber pool deck, pergola, ceiling boards, weatherboard and render were soft washed, the travertine path, side passage and pool surrounds were pressure washed, and every window was cleaned top and bottom, skylights included. Collaroy, further south, has had three of our jobs since September 2025.
