Castlecrag was planned around its sandstone and bushland, and many homes use natural stone for walls, paths, steps and terraces. Stone in shade holds moisture, so it grows moss, algae and lichen, and it stains. Cleaning it is half the job. Sealing it afterwards is what keeps it looking right through the campaign and beyond.
Trees, leaves and shade
Heavy tree cover means gutters fill quickly, roofs collect leaf litter, and at least one side of most homes rarely sees the sun. Before photos, we clear the gutters and soft wash the shaded walls, so the house looks as cared for as the garden around it.
