Iron lace, render and old paint
A Paddington terrace puts its finest details out the front: iron lace on the balcony, painted render or face brick, timber doors and sashes, and often a tiled front path. Much of it is well over a century old. Old paint lifts and old render chips under high pressure, so a terrace facade gets a soft wash, and we’ll show you anything already loose before we begin.
Narrow fronts and rear lanes
With a shared wall on each side, a terrace has no side passage to work from. Everything comes through the house or in from the rear lane where there is one, and parking out the front is rarely easy. We’ll check access and water supply from your photos. The courtyard out the back is small, but it sells the indoor and outdoor living, so its paving, walls and pots get the same care as the front.

The nearest thing to a Paddington courtyard in our recent work is a Point Piper job from August 2025: a pressure wash, with cement residue taken off the brickwork, a courtyard and pots. In Castlecrag, in October 2026, we cleaned pavers and removed rust stains.
