Weatherboards, timber decks and painted window frames are common here, and many of them have had years of sea air and shade. Timber marks easily under high pressure, and old paint lifts. We wash it at low pressure with the right cleaner, and flag any flaking paint before we start.

A short drive south, we got a Mona Vale home ready for sale in March 2026. Much of it was timber: the pool deck, weatherboard, pergola and ceiling boards were all soft washed, the same care Avalon’s timber needs. The travertine path and pool surrounds were pressure washed, and the windows done top and bottom, skylights included. In Collaroy, we’ve done exterior work on two homes and a post-renovation unit clean.
